Episode #8 with Tracey Atkins: pivoting from TV journalist to media agency founder

Welcome to episode #8 of the Career Pivot Podcast, hosted by Bec Sands. This episode is available on Spotify, Stitcher, iTunes and Google Podcasts, and if you enjoy it, I would love it if you could please subscribe and leave me a review.

In today’s podcast episode, I interview Tracey Atkins, Founder and Managing Director of Goldeneye Media; an international media agency that builds premium content and campaigns to capture and inform global audiences. Goldeneye Media makes incredible videos capturing the stories of the world’s most luxurious properties.

Tracey pivoted her career after spending 20 years as a broadcast journalist, covering breaking stories and anchoring national and international news bulletins in Australia, Asia, the UK and the USA. She has worked as a national political reporter, a senior network correspondent and network chief of staff. She has also worked as a media advisor for Australia’s Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, and served as an officer in the Royal Australian Air Force, working on media and issues management. She’s incredibly impressive, and I’m very lucky to have her on the podcast today!
